Five Gulf-based startups closed funding rounds in the week of Oct. 19–25, raising about $3.4 million in disclosed capital, according to the Technopolis deal ledger’s tally of rounds reported in full by at least one outlet. All four rounds with a disclosed amount were seed or pre-seed; a fifth deal’s amount was not disclosed.

The largest was Vitalls, a UAE-based mobile app for patients to keep their medical records safe and pass them along to doctors and insurers; it raised a $1.5 million seed round led by EST Growmore, with EST Group also participating.

CapQuest, a UAE startup whose platform helps companies manage cap tables, employee stock plans and investor relations, raised $1 million in a pre-seed round from Oraseya Capital and AMKM Family Office.

In Kuwait, theQA raised $550,000 in a pre-seed round; the startup’s platform connects businesses, agencies and researchers with vetted local participants to run market-research surveys, and no investors were named.

Saudi event-management startup INVE raised $300,000 in a pre-seed round led by Outliers Venture Capital; its platform sends hosts’ personalized invitations through WhatsApp and Gmail and tracks RSVPs and guest profiles.

The week’s fifth deal went to Nabta Health, a UAE-based preventive healthcare platform for women, which closed a pre-Series A round with Phoenix Venture Partners as lead investor, at an undisclosed amount.

Why it matters

The deals concentrated in the UAE, with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia each contributing one round — a sign that early-stage Gulf funding this week skewed toward small, specialized B2B and health platforms rather than large late-stage rounds.
